Start with the roof you have

Panels go on for 25 years. Putting them on a roof with five years left means paying to take them off and put them back. So before anyone quotes panels, we’ll tell you where your roof stands.

Tell us you’re thinking about solar and we can arrange an introduction to National Solar and help you understand whether the roof needs work first. If their team finds the roof needs work first, they send you to us. Greenlee does the roofing. National Solar does the solar. Each of us puts our own scope in writing, so you know who’s responsible for what.

How does your National Solar partnership work?

Tell us you’re thinking about solar and we can arrange an introduction to National Solar and help you understand whether the roof needs work first. If their team finds the roof needs work first, they send you to us. We do the roofing; they do the solar; each of us puts our own scope in writing.

What roofing materials do you install?

Composition shingles and metal. Owens Corning is where we usually start on shingles; we also install CertainTeed and GAF. Metal is Taylor Metal standing seam, made to order for your roof. On flat and low-slope commercial roofs we install TPO. Your proposal names the exact product.

Is the roof inspection free?

Yes, free, with no obligation. A roofer, not a salesperson, walks your roof and you get a written assessment and proposal, usually the next business day. If you need the report for a sale or a claim, say so and we’ll write it that way.
