We are extremely pleased with the new roof that Greenlee installed on the 5 cottages and the 5 car garage building at our condominium complex. Cary Greenlee was very courteous, patient, and honest with his inspection and bid. He even said we could wait a few years if we wanted before getting a new roof. Korey at the office was also very patient and followed up regularly as we obtained additional bids. Cary presented several roofing options and his bid was the most competitive. They worked with our project manager (also a contractor) throughout the project. Our project manager was very impressed with the efficiency of Greenlee's installation crew and the quality of their work. I highly recommend going with Greenlee. And they're local and family-owned.

Nicholas and the entire Greenlee team did a fantastic job on a new build roofing project in Bend. Excellent communication and great craftsmanship. They went above and beyond to handle items that were not part of their original scope for a reasonable cost to keep the project moving. If/when I ever get the pleasure of doing another project in Central Oregon I know who to call.

Roof Repair questions

Can you help with an active roof leak?

Call. Tell us where the water’s showing up and when it started. If we can get a tarp on it, we will. Stay off the roof. We answer Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

How do I know whether my roof needs repair or replacement?

We look at the problem and the roof around it. One bad flashing, a worn pipe gasket or a failing skylight on a sound roof is a repair. Granules coming off in patches, exposed asphalt, curling or missing shingles across the roof means it’s time. If yours has life left, we’ll tell you, in writing.

How soon can you inspect my roof?

During business hours we get back to you within the hour, the same way you reached us. A roofer comes out within a day or two, most weeks. The written proposal usually follows the next business day.

Is there a minimum repair charge?

No. Some companies set a minimum; we don’t. The proposal is for what your roof needs. We repair shingles, metal panels, flashing, skylights, chimney transitions and decking. We don’t repair tile; it never held up here and suppliers stopped carrying it.

How do you help with a roof insurance claim?

We handle the roofing side start to finish: inspection photos, written findings, a line-item estimate, and a roofer standing next to your adjuster on the roof to explain what we found. If they want more documentation, we provide it. Your insurer decides what’s covered and what your deductible is.

Is the roof inspection free?

Yes, free, with no obligation. A roofer, not a salesperson, walks your roof and you get a written assessment and proposal, usually the next business day. If you need the report for a sale or a claim, say so and we’ll write it that way.
