The Greenlee Difference
Published October 25, 2023 · Updated September 24, 2026
Choosing a roofer means choosing the people who will look after your home. Since 1993, our family has built Greenlee Roofing around clear advice, careful work and being available when customers need us.
Our inspectors are roofers, not salespeople
Your inspection starts with an experienced roofer who can explain what they find. We’ll talk through the condition of your roof, what needs attention now and what may be able to wait, so you can make a decision with useful information.
If your roof has useful life left, we’ll tell you. For replacements, we measure by hand and double-check with a satellite report, at no charge. You receive a written proposal that explains the recommended work, and we share photos when they help explain a concern.
Small crews, on purpose
We use small crews so the people doing the work can stay familiar with your roof and its details. Scheduling allows for the care each project needs, from protecting the property to installing the finishing pieces.
Before we call a roof complete, production leadership performs a final inspection. That gives the finished work another set of eyes and gives us a chance to address anything that needs attention.
You’ll also know who to contact for scheduling, billing and questions about the work. We want you to feel comfortable asking, both during the project and after the crew leaves.
Already planning your project? Here is how to prepare before the crew arrives.
The same family, since 1993
Cary Greenlee founded the company in 1993 and built its reputation one roof at a time. Nicholas Greenlee owns and runs it today. We’re Central Oregon’s family-owned roofing company, and being family-owned in a town this size means something specific: we plan on greeting you in the grocery store for years, so we do the job like it.
The rest of it
- No minimum repair charge. Some companies set one. We don’t.
- A reply within the hour during business hours, a roofer on your roof within a day or two, a written proposal usually the next business day.
- One email, three names. After you sign you know who handles scheduling, who handles billing, and who’s in charge on your roof.
- We take care of the place. Paver driveway? We hand-load. Rose bushes under the eaves? We build a box over them. Then we sweep the yard with magnets.
- We don’t roof over rot. If tear-off uncovers bad decking, we stop and call you before going further.
- Ten-year workmanship warranty, and it transfers to the next owner.
None of that is complicated. It’s just done the same way every time. Request a free inspection and see for yourself.
